Angelo M.'s Songs Featured in PBS TV Series, "RoadTrip Nation" This Fall

Two of Angelo M.'s songs are featured in the soundtrack of "Roadtrip Nation" a PBS TV Series which airs nationally this fall and consist of twelve episodes. The entire 2006 Series is also available on DVD.

RTN chronicles the cross country roadtrips of 3 groups of college students who in their travels interview self-made individuals from all walks of life in an effort to find their own path. The series only uses indie music in it's soundtrack, and prides itself on finding some of the best indie music available.   In past years RTN featured the music of Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, Caribou and other currently known artist... but, all from a time as RTN puts it "before they were famous".

RTN reported that this year their job of selecting music was harder than ever as they received a record number of submissions to choose from. Angelo is thrilled that not only one, but two of his songs were selected for this opportunity and is eager to see how they are used. The title track of Angelo's CD, Far From Home is in the show's 6th episode and "Thirty Years" is featured in the show's 9th episode. Air dates and times vary depending on PBS Station. For more information on Roadtrip Nation and to check local air times visit www.pbs.org/wnet/roadtripnation Also check out RTN on MySpace. Hope you tune in!

Far From Home and Thirty Years along with other Angelo M. tunes are available to download via itunes as well as a number of other MP3 providers. The full CD is available at CDbaby or Angelo M.'s music page.
